The Accu-Scope 3088 Series incorporates a new design and technology that are found in microscopes at a much higher price. The monocular head is inclined and rotates 360°. Several configurations of this model are available for various applications. A 10x 18mm eyepiece is standard on all models & locked in to prevent tampering and loss. The stage platform is large, 119mm x 119 mm. A rear facing triple or quadruple nosepiece is supplied with ball-bearings and positive click stop to ensure parcentration. Objectives are DIN standard achromat that provide outstanding clarity and resolution. The stand is full sized, cast alloy aluminum, with an acid resistant finish and low positioned separate coarse & fine adjustment mechanisms that incorporate a built-in slip clutch system and pre-set focus stop that prevents accidental damage to objectives or slides. Illumination is extremely bright and even with the 10,000 hour rated, 5w fluorescent bulb. A grounded 3 wire line cord with cord hanger makes for easy storage.
