The microscope simply plugs into the USB port of your computer and your ready to go. Included with the microscope is Applied Vision software by Ken-A-Vision. The software will allow you to capture images in an instant or record a movie with the touch of a button. The software offers full screen imaging, video and image editing, video streaming, instant e mail images, measuring time lapse sequences and pin pointing of specific areas. Files can be saved in various popular formats. It is also designed to work with most other software programs. Recommended software requirements, Pentium II 433mhz or greater, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 - 128 MB of RAM, 8 MB video, (24 bit color). This product is also MAC compatible. The microscope and camera come with a five-year warranty. This product is recommended for educational use K-8 and the hobbyist.

The microscope comes with a monocular head and built in camera, 10x wide field eyepiece with pointer, 4x, 10x, and 40x objectives, coaxial coarse & fine adjustment focusing, locked on stage clips and a built in 10 watt light source with vented cooling system. Recommended K-8 or for hobby use.
